Our team reviews proposed plans and developments to confirm compliance with LHDS provisions, identifying potential issues early and working with designers and consultants to integrate practical, compliant solutions that support accessible and adaptable housing outcomes.
Pool safety certificates
Swimming pools are a popular addition to homes across Queensland. Assessment of swimming pool designs, together with the associated pool safety fencing, is required to ensure compliance with current pool safety standards. This applies to all types of development, whether the pool forms part of a new home build, a renovation, or a standalone swimming pool and fence installation. We can also assist with approvals for new pool fencing around existing pools to help bring them into compliance with current regulatory requirements. Our services include issuing development permits, undertaking the mandatory final pool fence inspection, and issuing the Form 17 certificate to confirm the pool fence is compliant and the pool may be filled.
