With more than 20 years of certification experience, he provides clear, practical advice to help clients understand compliance requirements and move confidently through approvals.

Clients often work with Chris when navigating complex approvals or regulatory questions. His focus is on making the certification process straightforward and ensuring projects meet all legislative requirements while keeping progress on track.

Building Certifier (Level 1)

Ryan works closely with clients on both residential and commercial building approvals, helping ensure designs meet all required legislation and construction standards. As our lead certifier for commercial projects, he reviews plans for compliance with the National Construction Code, State legislation, and relevant Australian Standards.

Ryan’s approach focuses on providing clear guidance early in the process, helping project teams identify compliance requirements before construction begins. This helps clients avoid delays and move through approvals with confidence.

Senior Building Code Consultant

Brian supports clients by providing clear advice on building code compliance, fire safety, and life safety requirements throughout the design and approval process. He works closely with architects, engineers, and project teams to interpret the National Construction Code and identify practical solutions that meet regulatory requirements.

His role is to help clients navigate complex compliance matters early, ensuring projects remain safe, compliant, and able to progress smoothly through certification.

Building Certifier

Kye works closely with clients to guide their projects through the certification and inspection process, ensuring each stage of construction meets the required regulations. From reviewing plans to carrying out on-site inspections, he helps confirm that work complies with the National Construction Code and relevant planning requirements.

Clients often see Kye during construction inspections, where his attention to detail helps ensure structural elements, from footings to framing, meeting compliance standards and keeping projects moving forward.

Senior Operations Support

Merideth helps ensure every project moves smoothly through the approval process. She works closely with clients, councils, and the certification team to coordinate documentation, prepare applications, and keep approvals progressing on schedule.

For many clients, Merideth is a key point of contact throughout the process, helping ensure the right information is submitted and keeping everyone informed as projects move toward approval.

Operations Support Officer

Michelle supports clients by ensuring all documentation and application materials are organised and processed efficiently throughout the certification process. She coordinates paperwork and assists in preparing files so projects can move smoothly through assessment.

Her attention to detail helps ensure our certifiers have everything they need to review applications quickly and keep approvals progressing without unnecessary delays.

Operations Support Officer

Melita works closely with clients and councils to coordinate the administrative side of the certification process. She manages documentation, assists with application preparation, and helps ensure each project moves efficiently through the approval stages.

Cadet Building Certifier

Jarrad supports the certification team by assisting with building application assessments and site inspections under the guidance of senior certifiers. His role helps ensure projects are reviewed carefully and meet the requirements of the National Construction Code and relevant legislation.

Clients may see Jarrad assisting during inspections or working behind the scenes on project documentation as he continues developing his expertise in the building certification process.

Cadet Building Certifier

Jesse works alongside our experienced certifiers to assist with application assessments and site inspections throughout the certification process. Through hands-on training and mentorship, he helps review projects for compliance with the National Construction Code and relevant legislation.

His role supports the team in ensuring projects are carefully assessed and clients receive clear guidance as they move through the approval process.

Marketing Communications Manager

Nathan focuses on improving how clients interact with Cornerstone throughout the building approval process. He works behind the scenes to develop systems, tools, and communication that make submitting applications and managing approvals simpler and more efficient.
